Skincare is essential in every season but let’s be real - winter can take your skin from a dewy glow to being dry and even cracked.

Gentle Cleanser- If dry skin is bothering you more in the winter- think about trading out foaming cleanser for a gentle cleanser.  Our pick would be SkinMedica® Facial Cleanser.

Moisturizer - Add immediate moisture to your skin and smooth fine lines- say less. SkinMedica’s HA⁵® Rejuvenating Hydrator is our top pick.

SPF… still? Absolutely- just because the weather outside is frightful UV rays are still beaming down. Protect your investment with spf- try this one by SkinMedica® Essential Defense Everyday Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 47 is lightweight, sheer sunscreen is ideal for oily and/or combination skin, giving you the highest level of UVA protection available, along with UVB coverage in a formulation that won't clog pores. Essential Defense Everyday Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 47 is appropriate for oily and combination skin types.Screenshot_2022-12-22_at_8_24_43_PMLooking for protection against UV rays and harmful infrared rays while supporting the skin’s ability to restore itself? Look no further than SkinMedica®’s Total Defense + Repair Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 34.91% of patients said Total Defense + Repair SPF 34 improves skin’s overall health and overall appearance (at week 8). Hydrated Lips - Cold weather and dry, cracked lips don’t have to go together. We recommend applying SkinMedica®’s HA⁵® Smooth and Plump Lip System to keep your lips plump and moisturized this season. We also recommend avoiding irritating lip balm, drinking plenty of water, and applying a lip balm with SPF of 30 or higher when outdoors - even in the winter. Many lip products contain colors, dyes, and waxes that can cause irritation and allergies. We recommend avoiding flavored lip balms that may irritate the lips such as mint, menthol, or cinnamon. And don’t forget, expressive lip licking actually irritates your lips even more due to saliva enzymes.HA5_LIPS

Skincare HOT TIP - Warming up from the cold in a hot shower and blasting the heat really strips your skin from moisture- think about adding a humidifier to your room at night to replace some of that lost moisture!
