How many chemical peels will I need? Quantity of treatment sessions can be estimated by your MOBO provider during a complimentary assessment. Although one VI Peel will produce results, often more treatment sessions are encouraged to reach your skin goal.

What is the down-time after treatment? After your peel procedure, you’ll have some steps to complete at home for the next seven days, morning and evening. Peeling from a chemical peel can start 1-2 days after treatment, and last up to day 7. Most clients continue to go about their life and have peeling that resembles post-sun-burn peeling (though some patients can experience severe sheet peeling). VI Peels require you to avoid excessive heat or exercise for three days, and will require modification of your skincare routine.
What procedures can be done the same day as the peel? Vitality Institute undertook a major study to prove that their products are safe to be combined same-day with injectables, so most Botox® / Dysport® and fillers can be done on the same day as your peel! Dermaplane may be done prior to the peel.
Can I wear makeup? For four hours after your peel procedure, nothing should be applied to the skin. Starting the next day, it is ok to wear make-up, CC cream, etc.; however, makeup does not lay well on peeling skin and may make the appearance of visible peeling look worse.
What skincare products do I use after the peel? Your provider will give you a skincare kit to use for the 7 days post peel. This kit includes peel wipes to use at home, dermal repair cream (anti-itch cream), cleanser and SPF. After 7-10 days it is OK to resume your routine skincare.
I’ve had a friend who got a deep chemical peel and she scabbed and burned...will this make me look like she did? We specifically use VI-Peel because it is one of the best tolerated medical-grade peels on the market. While not impossible, burns like this are highly unlikely with the formulations we use. There will be visible peeling - and even some sheet peeling.
